Church Planting Center

Our Goal is to help produce Healthy Churches
that impact their Community for Christ

Our process involves churches starting churches.  In this process you will be mentored for up to 2 yrs. (depending on your past experience)  This mentoring process provides you with hands on experience of how church works, developing partnerships, developing relationships with the church & community, and providing opportunities for you to fail and succeed in a secure setting.

** All church planters will need to be bi-vocational.  Not necessarily full time, but at least part time.  The purpose is to develop relationships within the community through work.  (Example: deli counter, cashier - the less pay you receive the more people you generally meet)

General Steps

Step 1
Make contact with myself to discuss your interest in possibly starting a church in the Northeast

Step 2
Make arrangements for you and your family to come up to look at the area, learn about the culture, and pray through the direction God has for your life

Step 3
Take some evaluation tests to bring out your strengths and weaknesses

Step 4
Pair you up with you mentor & his church

Step 5
30 - 90 day probation in which you work with your mentor to see if this relationship will work

Step 6
Work with the Mentor's church to learn how
the church works  (attend business and church council meetings)

to work work with people in the church (handle disputes and motivate volunteers)

develop relationships in the church (these people will be supporting your family)

develop partnerships for your new church (finding, working, & keeping them)

work the area you are going to start the church
(develop relationships, advertise, begin a Bible Study, etc...)

The time will come when you and your mentor feel comfortable to let you go out on your own to start the church God has called you to plant.

** The reason why we go through this process is so you & your family have the training, experience, and support you need to impact a community for Christ through the new church.
